Look at a blog as a way for you to build your web presence and business credibility. Every time you enter a blog post you are adding a page to your online library. When search engines search for content they look for the biggest “library” with the most relevant content to that particular search.
For example, if you are a Home Builder or Agent that specializes in Victorian Homes, you would want to do a lot of blog entries about Victorian Homes. This will build your digital “library” of content over time and bring you up on the Search Engine rankings for Victorian Homes. This is also the case if you work a specific area, or specialize in energy efficiency – blog about those topics.
